Before the conference, Niemeyer in Groningen transforms into a two-day arena for builders, researchers, and problem-solvers. The best teams present their results live on stage at aiGrunn on November 13.
The aiGrunn Hackathon runs two parallel streams across both days. Pick the one that fits how you want to work — both run simultaneously, and both send their winners to the aiGrunn stage.
No fixed goal, no prescribed outcome. Dive into a technology, a dataset, or an idea you've been curious about. Tinker, experiment, and show the community what you discovered. The best explorations get to present at aiGrunn Conference.
Real organizations bring real problems. Work in teams against a specific brief, build something that actually works, and compete against the best minds in the North. Winners present their solution on the aiGrunn main stage.
November 11 & 12, 2026. Both streams run across both days. You get two full days to build, iterate, and refine.
