The gap between a promising result and something you can actually use is where this track lives. New methods, honest evaluation, experiments that did not go as planned, and the research coming out of the North's knowledge institutions that could be practically applicable sooner than you think.
This track is aimed at researchers, scientists, doctoral candidates, students, research-and-development teams and knowledge institutions: people who care as much about the method as the result.
The speakers are researchers, scientists, doctoral candidates and R&D practitioners presenting new findings, methods or experiments. Expect evaluation you can scrutinise, societal impact taken seriously, and applied research done together with industry or the public sector.
Seven talks, or a deliberate combination of talks, posters and demos.
We are looking for researchers, scientists, doctoral candidates and research-and-development speakers with new findings, methods or experiments to put in front of a curious, mixed audience.
Negative results and methods that did not survive contact with reality are welcome too. Submit your proposal for aiGrunn 2026 and join a lineup of speakers from across the Netherlands and beyond.
