About the track

What is emerging now, and what it could mean soon.

This track is aimed at researchers, scientists, doctoral candidates, students, research-and-development teams and knowledge institutions: people who care as much about the method as the result.

The speakers are researchers, scientists, doctoral candidates and R&D practitioners presenting new findings, methods or experiments. Expect evaluation you can scrutinise, societal impact taken seriously, and applied research done together with industry or the public sector.

Presenting something new?

We are looking for researchers, scientists, doctoral candidates and research-and-development speakers with new findings, methods or experiments to put in front of a curious, mixed audience.

Negative results and methods that did not survive contact with reality are welcome too. Submit your proposal for aiGrunn 2026 and join a lineup of speakers from across the Netherlands and beyond.

  • New findings, methods, experiments or evaluation approaches, explained for a mixed technical audience
  • Applied research and collaborations with industry or the public sector are especially welcome
  • Posters and demos are an option alongside talks: tell us what fits your work
  • No sales pitches. All talks must deliver genuine learning value
  • Slots: 30 minutes including Q&A
  • English submissions only
  • All talks are recorded and published on YouTube
